In Hotel Tivoli komen initiatiefnemers G. Overweg en W. van Eck met belangstellenden samen om de oprichting van een Oudenbosche tennisclub te bespreken. Na uitleg over de aanleg van een tennisbaak en de financiële consequenties volgt de vraag: "Kunnen we na wat we gehoord en besproken hebben, overgaan tot de feitelijke oprichting ener tennisclub?" Hierna volgt een volmondig: “JA” van alle aanwezigen en de tennisclub is een feit geworden.
